All players and managers should take time to review the ASA Non-Approved Bat List. Remember, only single-wall bats made from non-composite materials are allowed in league play. Additionally, bats may not appear on the Non-Approved Bat List.
If you want to be Absolutely Certain that you're using a legal bat, please compare the model to ASA's 2004 and Beyond Approved Bats wizard. Select 'Bats' and then select your bat's brand and click 'Go'. If your bat appears on the list, and the icon to the left of the bat manufacturer's name indicates 'Single Wall Aluminum', then your bat is legal. If you're unsure what to do, then see this illustrated guide.
